Catalogue of surrealist botanical drawings

Project based on a brief ‘methods of cataloguing’. This booklet is a collection of collages representing botanical drawings from the Harvard Digital Library, Botanical drawings, Clemenz Heinrich Wehdemerann drawing of plants collected at Cape Town.
The publication follows a process of re-catologuing, transforming (looking at the silouhettes of the plants), re-cataloguing (from the most to the least recognisable silhouette), creating the shape in between two silouhettes, asking for people what they percieve, selecting, creating the new ‘botanical drawings’ (collages).
